The Maintenance Orders Act 19505 is amended as follows.

In section 4(1)(d) (contributions under the Children and Young Persons Act 1933 and the National Assistance Act 1948), after “income support” insert “or universal credit”.

In section 9(1)(d) (contributions under the Children and Young Persons (Scotland) Act 1937 and the National Assistance Act 1948), after “income support” insert “or universal credit”.
