SCHEDULE 6 S CONSEQUENTIAL MODIFICATIONS TO SECONDARY LEGISLATION

Housing Benefit (Persons who have attained the qualifying age for state pension credit) Regulations 2006 S

28.  In regulation 2(1) of the Housing Benefit (Persons who have attained the qualifying age for state pension credit) Regulations 2006(1) (interpretation), for the definition of “couple” substitute—

““couple” means—

(a)

two people who are married to, or civil partners of, each other and are members of the same household; or

(b)

two people who are not married to, or civil partners of, each other but are living together as a married couple;”.
