Water Industry Act 1991

74.  In section 2 (general duties with respect to water industry)(1), in subsection (6B), for “the Office of Fair Trading (in this Act referred to as “the OFT”)” substitute “the CMA”.

Subsections (6A) and (6B) were inserted by Schedule 10 to the Competition Act 1998 and subsequently amended by Schedule 25 to the Enterprise Act 2002 and by virtue of section 36 and by section 39 of the Water Act 2003 (c. 37). There are other amendments to section 2 but none is relevant to this Order.
