48. In section 27(1) of the Opticians Act 1989 (sale and supply of optical appliances), in subsection (3)(e)(i), after “so far as the seller knows,” insert “registered as sight-impaired or severely sight-impaired in a register kept by a local authority under section 77(1) of the Care Act 2014 or”.
