Section 4 (duties of responsible authority following notice under section 2) is amended as follows.

In subsection (3)(a), after “2000 (c. 16)” insert “or Part 1 of the Care Act 2014”.

In subsection (4), after paragraph (b) insert—
; or
c
is entitled to an assessment under section 10(1) of the Care Act 2014.

In each of subsections (9) and (10)—
a
before “(but without prejudice” insert “or, as the case may be, Part 1 of the Care Act 2014,”;
b
after “that section” insert “or that Part”.
