This Schedule applies in relation to waste motor vehicles.

In this Schedule—

  • “waste” means waste within the meaning of Article 3(1) of the Waste Framework DirectiveF1, as read with Articles 5 and 6 of that Directive;

  • “waste motor vehicle” means a motor vehicle that is waste.

Exercise of relevant functions3

The regulator must exercise its relevant functions so as to ensure compliance with Article 6(1) and (3) of the End-of-Life Vehicles Directive.
