40.  In regulation 3(4) of the Volatile Organic Compounds in Paints, Varnishes and Vehicle Refinishing Products Regulations 2012 M1 , for paragraph (a) of the definition of “solvent emission activity” substitute—

“(a) Schedule 14 to the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016;”.
