The Modern Slavery Act 2015 (Consequential Amendments) Regulations 2016
Made
Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1(1)
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 57(2) and (3) of the Modern Slavery Act 20151, section 93(1) and (2) of the Criminal Justice and Courts Act 20152 and section 85(2) and (3)(c) of the Serious Crime Act 20153.
In accordance with section 58(3) and (4)(k) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, section 93(5) of the Criminal Justice and Courts Act 2015 and section 85(5) of the Serious Crime Act 2015 a draft of these Regulations has been laid before and approved by resolution of each House of Parliament.
