These Rules may be cited as the Court of Protection Rules 2017 and shall come into force on 1st December 2017.

The rules in the Schedule are revoked as set out in the Schedule.

A practice direction may make provision for the extent to which and manner in which these Rules shall apply to proceedings started before the day on which they come into force.
