The Health and Social Care Act 2012M1is amended as follows.

In section 72(2), omit paragraphs (c) and (d).

In section 102(4), after paragraph (b) insert—

an order under section 84C of that Act made in relation to a retained EU merger commitment if one or more persons who gave the commitment was engaged in the provision of health care services for the purposes of the NHS at the time the commitment was given;

In paragraph 10(2A)(b)M2of Schedule 10, for “subsection (8A)” substitute“ subsections (8A), (8B) and (8C) ”.
This statutory instrument was made under a procedure whereby it ceases to have effect at the end of the period of 28 days beginning with the day on which it was made unless, during that period, the instrument is approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament. It was not approved by Parliament within that period and so has ceased to have effect.
