129.—(1) The Civil Evidence Act (Northern Ireland) 1971(1) is amended as follows.
(2) In section 10(3) and (4)(2), for “husband or wife” substitute “spouse or civil partner”.
(3) In section 14(2), in the words after the definition of “legal proceedings”—
(a)for “husband or wife” substitute “spouse or civil partner”;
(b)after “married to” insert “, or the civil partner of,”.
