In section 20(9) of the Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Act 2013 (amendments made by Part 2 of Schedule 5 do not extend to Northern Ireland), after “Northern Ireland” insert “(but see regulation 42(1) of the Marriage (Same-sex Couples) and Civil Partnership (Opposite-sex Couples) (Northern Ireland) Regulations 2019)”.
