67.—(1) In the Social Security Administration (Northern Ireland) Act 1992(1), section 110(5) and (6) (competence and compellability of spouses as witnesses) are omitted.
(2) In consequence of paragraph (1), in Schedule 5 to the Healthy Start Scheme and Day Care Food Scheme Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2006(2), in the entry for section 110 of the Social Security Administration (Northern Ireland) 1992—
(a)in column 1, for “, (3)(a) and (5)” substitute “and (3)(a)”, and
(b)in column 2, omit paragraph (d).
(3) The amendments made by paragraphs (1) and (2) apply only in relation to offences committed on or after 13th January 2020.
