Amendment of Article 8 of Commission Regulation (EU) No 139/2014414

Article 8 (safeguarding of aerodrome surroundings) is amended as follows.

In paragraph 1, for “Member States” substitute “The Secretary of State”.

In paragraph 2—
a
in the first place the words occur, for “Member States” substitute “The Secretary of State”;
b
in the second place the words occur, for “Member States” substitute “the CAA”.

In paragraph 3—
a
in the first place the words occur, for “Member States” substitute “The Secretary of State”;
b
for the words from “national borders” to the end substitute “the national border with the Republic of Ireland”.
