This Order extends certain provisions of United Kingdom immigration and related legislation to Jersey, with modifications as necessary. In particular, this Order extends provision contained in the following statutes—the Immigration Act 1971 (c.77);the British Nationality Act 1981 (c.61);the Criminal Justice Act 1982 (c.48);the Immigration Act 1988 (c.14);the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996 (c.49);the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 (c.33);the Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Act 2002 (c.41);the Asylum and Immigration (Treatment of Claimants, etc.) Act 2004 (c.19);the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006 (c.13);the UK Borders Act 2007 (c.30);the Borders, Citizenship and Immigration Act 2009 (c.11);the Immigration Act 2014 (c.22);the Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015 (c.6);the Immigration Act 2016 (c.19);the Policing and Crime Act 2017 (c.3);the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018 (c.13);the Immigration and Social Security Co-ordination (EU Withdrawal) Act 2020 (c.20).
