Section 30(4) of the 2022 Act (revocation of the Refugee or Person in Need of International Protection (Qualification) Regulations 20067) does not apply in relation to an asylum claim made before the appointed day.

In paragraph (1), “asylum claim” means a claim made by a person to the Secretary of State that to remove the person from or require them to leave the United Kingdom would breach the United Kingdom’s obligations under the Refugee Convention.
