1985 c. 70. The definition of “local authority” in section 38 was amended by paragraph 70 of Schedule 6 to the Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction Act 2009, and paragraph 75 of Schedule 2 to the 2017 Act. There are other amendments not relevant to this instrument.
