24.—(1) Section 114(1) is amended as follows. E+W

(2) Omit the definition of “the Council”.

(3) For the definition of “drainage authority”, substitute—

““drainage authority” means—

(a) as respects England, the Environment Agency;

(b) as respects Wales, the Natural Resources Body for Wales;

(c) in either case, an internal drainage board;”.
