24.—(1) Section 114(1) is amended as follows.

(2) Omit the definition of “the Council”.

(3) For the definition of “drainage authority”, substitute—

““drainage authority” means—

(a)

as respects England, the Environment Agency;

(b)

as respects Wales, the Natural Resources Body for Wales;

(c)

in either case, an internal drainage board;”.
