Regulation 2(1) is amended as follows.

In the definition of “the consultative bodies”—

a

in paragraph (c), for “the Countryside Council for Wales” substitute “ the Natural Resources Body for Wales ”;

b

for paragraph (d) substitute—

d

where the application or proposed application relates to a section 36 consent—

i

the Environment Agency, otherwise than in relation to Wales and the Welsh zone;

ii

the Natural Resources Body for Wales in relation to Wales and the Welsh zone; and

In the appropriate place insert—

“Welsh zone” has the meaning given by section 158 of the Government of Wales Act 2006.
