Regulation 2 is amended as follows.

Omit the definition of “the Agency”.

In the appropriate place insert—

“appropriate authority” means—

a

the Environment Agency in relation to a project in England;

b

the Natural Resources Body for Wales in relation to a project in Wales;

In the definition of “consultation bodies”—

a

in sub-paragraph (c), for “the Countryside Council for Wales” substitute “ the Natural Resources Body for Wales ”;

b

in sub-paragraph (d), for “the Agency” substitute “ the appropriate authority ”.
