Water Resources (Environmental Impact Assessment) (England and Wales) Regulations 2003
164.—(1) Regulation 2 is amended as follows.
(2) Omit the definition of “the Agency”.
(3) In the appropriate place insert—
““appropriate authority” means—
(a)
the Environment Agency in relation to a project in England;
(b)
the Natural Resources Body for Wales in relation to a project in Wales;”.
(4) In the definition of “consultation bodies”—
(a)in sub-paragraph (c), for “the Countryside Council for Wales” substitute “the Natural Resources Body for Wales”;
(b)in sub-paragraph (d), for “the Agency” substitute “the appropriate authority”.
