7.—(1) Section 2(5)(1) of the Disabled Persons (Services, Consultation and Representation) Act 1986 is amended as follows.
(2) At the beginning of paragraph (d) insert “in England,”.
(3) After paragraph (d) insert—
“(da)in Wales, in premises at which a care home service within the meaning of Part 1 of the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016 (anaw 2) is provided wholly or mainly to persons aged 18 or over, or”.
In subsection (5), in paragraph (d) the words “a care home within the meaning of the Care Standards Act 2000” were inserted by the Care Standards Act 2000, section 116, Schedule 4, paragraph 11.
