Section 190 of the Equality Act 2010143 (improvements to let dwelling houses) is amended as follows.

In subsection (1), after paragraph (a), insert—

the tenancy is not a secure contract in relation to which the landlord is a local authority;

In subsection (9), at the appropriate place in alphabetical order, insert—

  • “secure contract” has the same meaning as in the Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016 (anaw 1) (see section 8 of that Act);
