Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980

5.—(1) The Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980(1) is modified as follows.

(2) In section 99 (directions to dispose of land – supplementary)—

(a)after subsection (2), insert—

(2A) Where a notice under subsection (1) is received by the Combined Authority which relates to land used wholly or partly in relation to the Mayor’s PCC functions, the Mayor is to make any representations under subsection (2) on behalf of the Combined Authority to the Secretary of State.;

(b)in subsection (4)—

(i)in paragraph (dbzb)(2) at the end insert “or, as the case may be, the Mayor”;

(ii)omit paragraph (dc)(3).

Section 99(4)(dbzb) was inserted by paragraph 51 of Schedule 6 to the Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction Act 2009.

Section 99(4)(dc) was inserted by paragraph 141 of Schedule 16 to the PRSR Act.
