These Regulations amend the arrangements for the coming into force of the provisions of the European Qualifications (Health and Social Care Professions) Regulations 2007 (“the 2007 Regulations”) that relate to the regulation of pharmacy technicians. These provisions will now come into force when article 21 of the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians Order 2007 comes into force, which will be the date for the opening of the statutory Register of Pharmacy Technicians.
