18.—(1) The Matrimonial and Family Proceedings (Northern Ireland) Order 1989(1) is amended as follows.
(2) In Article 19 (jurisdiction of the court)—
(a)in paragraph (1), omit “Subject to paragraphs (1A) and (2),”;
(b)omit paragraph (1A);
(c)omit paragraph (3).
(3) In Article 20 (duty of the court to consider whether Northern Ireland is the appropriate venue for application)—
(a)in paragraph (1), omit “Subject to paragraph (3),”;
(b)omit paragraph (3);
(c)omit paragraph (4).
