The Secretary of State for the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 241 and 266 of, and Part I of Schedule 17 to, the Local Government Act 1972(1), section 4A(1) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990(2), sections 63(1) and (2) and 75(3) to (7), and paragraphs 1(2) and (3) and 2(1) to (3) of Schedule 7 to the Environment Act 1995(3), and after consultation with the council for every principal area the whole or any part of which is comprised in a National Park in England as required by paragraph 2(3) of that Schedule, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

1972 c. 70. Part I of Schedule 17 is amended by section 46 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 (c. 69), and by Schedule 3 to the Local Government Act 1985 (c. 51).
