14. Account of Rates

15. Harbour, Dock, and Pier Master

    1. LXXXI. Power to appoint Meters and Weighers.

    2. LXXXII. Licensed Meters and Weighers only to be employed. Penalty on other than licensed Meters, &c. weighing Goods.

21. Byelaws

    1. LXXXIII. Byelaws may be made for all or any of the Purposes herein named.

    2. Byelaws may be repealed or altered from Time to Time.

    3. LXXXIV. Byelaws may be enforced by Imposition of Penalties.

    4. LXXXV. No Byelaws to come into operation until allowed in the Manner prescribed, and approved by One of the Judges.

    5. LXXXVI. Notice of Allowance of Byelaws to be given in One or more Newspapers.

    6. LXXXVII. A Copy of proposed Byelaws to be open to Inspection.

    7. LXXXVIII. Publication of Byelaws.

    8. LXXXIX. Byelaws to be binding on all Parties.

22. Recovery of Damages and Penalties

    1. XCII. Railways Clauses Consolidation Acts, 1845, as to Damages, &c. to be incorporated with this and the Special Act.

    2. XCIII. In Ireland Part of Penalties to be paid to Guardians of Unions.

    3. XCIV. All Thing required to be ilone by Two Justices in England and Ireland may, in certain Cases, be done by One, and in Scotland by the Sheriff, &c.

    4. XCV. Penalties, &c. imposed in respect of any Offence committed within the Metropolitan Police District to be paid to the Receiver, and applied under 2 & 3 Vict. c.71.

    5. XCVI. Persons giving false Evidence liable to Penalties of Perjury.

23. Access to Special Act

    1. XCVII. Copies of Special Act to be kept by Undertakers at their Office and deposited with the Clerks of the Peace, &c, and be open to Inspection.

    2. XCVIII. Penalty on Undertakers failing to keep or deposit such Copies.

24. Saving of Rights

    1. XCIX. Nothing in this or the Special Act to affect the Rights of the Crown ;
