The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council
Whereas by the Official Secrets (Jersey) Law, 1952, which Her Majesty has this day been pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to approve and ratify, the legislature of Jersey has made provisions which appear to Her Majesty to be of the like effect as those contained in the Official Secrets Acts, 1911 to 1939 (1), and it is accordingly expedient under the powers conferred by section eleven of the Official Secrets Act, 1911, to suspend the operation of the said Acts within the Island of Jersey:
Now, therefore, Her Majesty, in pursuance of the said section eleven is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:—
1 & 2 Geo.5. c. 28;10 & 11 Geo. 5, c. 75;2 & 3 Geo. 6. c. 121
