SCHEDULE 1 Enabling Powers

These Regulations are made under the following powers(1)—

(a) the following provisions of the Representation of the People Act 1983(2)—

(i) sections 10A(7), 53(1)(ba) and (c) and (4), 58(2)(b) and (6) and 201(3)(3);

(ii) rules 19B(6) to (9) and 28(3) of Schedule 1(4);

(iii) paragraphs 1A and 5ZA of Schedule 2(5);

(b) section 8(6) to (7A) of the Representation of the People Act 1985(6);

(c) section 18 of the Recall of MPs Act 2015(7);

(d) section 34(4) of the Northern Ireland Act 1998(8).
