Adoption Agencies Regulations 2005

10.—(1) The Adoption Agencies Regulations 2005(1) are amended as follows.

(2) In each of the provisions mentioned in paragraph (3) for “the Care Council for Wales under section 56 of the Care Standards Act 2000” substitute “Social Care Wales under section 80 of the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016”.

(3) The provisions are—

(a)the definition of “social worker” in regulation 2(1) (interpretation);

(b)regulation 37(2) (independent reviewing officers).

S.I. 2005/389, the definition of “social worker” in regulation 2(1) was amended and regulation 37(2) was amended by S.I. 2012/1479, there are other amending instruments but none is relevant to this instrument.
