Dull Ethol
Penderfynu a oes gornest yn yr etholiad a datgan y canlyniad os nad oes gornest
20.—(1) Rhaid i’r swyddog canlyniadau benderfynu a yw nifer y personau sy’n dal wedi eu henwebu’n ddilys ar gyfer y ward etholiadol ar ôl i unrhyw un neu ragor dynnu’n ôl o dan reol 12 yn fwy na nifer y cynghorwyr sydd i’w hethol.
(2) Os nad yw nifer y personau sy’n dal wedi eu henwebu’n ddilys yn fwy na nifer y cynghorwyr sydd i’w hethol, rhaid i’r swyddog canlyniadau ddatgan bod y person neu’r personau sy’n dal wedi ei enwebu neu wedi eu henwebu’n ddilys wedi ei ethol neu wedi eu hethol.
(3) Rhaid hefyd i’r swyddog canlyniadau—
(a)rhoi hysbysiad yn datgan enwau a chyfeiriadau’r rhai y datganwyd eu bod wedi eu hethol i swyddog priodol cyngor y brif ardal, a
(b)cyhoeddi eu henwau.
(4) Os yw nifer y personau sy’n dal wedi eu henwebu’n ddilys yn fwy na nifer y cynghorwyr sydd i’w hethol, rhaid cynnal pleidlais yn unol â Rhan 3.
